Debit Card Alerts
Do you currently receive text notifications for debit card events? Our current provider of debit card notifications is being upgraded to a new product - MyCardRules. With the new product, you will receive personalized notifications for ever card you enroll based on transaction settings. You can customize transaction settings that trigger notifications by merchant type, spending limits, transaction dollar amount.... there are so many ways to personalize your notifications with MyCardRules! For example, if you set your transaction limit amount to $0, you will receive an alert (push notification, text message, and/or email) anytime your card is used. This can protect you from unauthorized use and fraud of any amount.
The biggest change between the two products, thought, is the method of enrollment. The only way to sign up for the new alert service is through our mobile banking app! Unfortunately, there's no way to use the alert service as a stand-alone service. The new service will go live on September 30, 2020. If you currently receive debit card notifications and wish to continue, you will need to enroll via the app by going to the Card Management tile, selecting the card you wish to enroll, and visiting Alerts and Protections. Don't have our mobile app? If you have already signed up for internet banking, just search "Allendale" in the App Store or Google Play and log in with your online banking credentials.
